Hmmm..
Its rather amazing how the word 'random' suddenly became so popular overnight.
a few years ago no ah lian or ah beng or singaporean (with the exception of certain individuals of above-average intellect) would be caught dead uttering such a complex word. should a friend do something totally unexpected, it warranted only a 'eh you siao ah?' and so on.
its amazing how this word can add so much depth to the conversations of so many people.. m aking them sound smarter than they really are; its not a bad thing, but the word random is slowly sinking into singaporean culture as the many words before it: used, abused and twisted beyond recognition.
"its very sad". - quote everyone's favourite "anime hero" known as Peter.
