i recently recieved my phone bill - and it amounted to $112.45.

yes, you read that right.

all hell broke loose, and i thought it was all a bad dream - granted, there would be some miscellenous charges since i just changed my line not too long ago, but the reason it even went above sixy bucks was the FORTY FIVE DOLLAR charge for 8 megs' worth of data usage.

THATS FIVE BUCKS A MEG!

upon further investigation, i found that those crazy fools over at singtel automatically enabled 3G internet connection on my iphone and happily filled in the connection name, username and password even though nothing of the sort was requested.

when i connected to the net and got apps/fixes for my iphone, or even accidentally logged on, i got charged for every single moment of it!

worse still, the bill was for only 10 days' worth of usage since i got my iphone - 13th to 25th September.

i fear the worst for my next bill.

goodbye, paycheck. i appreciate having known you..

(yes, i'm aware there's nothing but a infinitely miniscule chance singtel will actually read that statement but im including it for dramatic effect.)
