Campfire 2007 Skit

Mary And Her Lamb Chop

Mary had some little lambs
their fleece was white as snow
everywhere that Mary went
her lambs were sure to go

She was famous
and with her lambs
she went around
Queen of rock
paper scissors she was
a worthy opponent never found

They followed her up the hill one day
where Mary met Jack and Jill
"I CHALLENGE YOU!" Mary cried
"LOSE BADLY YOU WILL!"

So Jack went first
a gentleman he was
and lose badly he did
but he had a secret weapon in hand
with Jill, it hid.

She stepped up
a flame in her eyes and LO!
a pair of scissors she had!
Alas! Mary had paper
she tasted defeat
for she had lost, bad.

"We have won!" Jil declared
"What will you give us now?"
Jack was a little daft and said
"I want that little cow"

"That's a lamb!" Mary said
"But since i have others, its yours!"
Jack looked at it hungrily and said
"Lamb is delicious with sauce.

Later on that day
Mary's lambs sat crying
wondering what became
of their friend
their comrade in arms
their lives would never be the same

Jack and Jill
went up the hill
to Jack's place to cook lamb chop and corn
"It's kinda sad," said Jill
"Who cares?" said Jack
and Mary sat outside, forlorn

"Let's save her a piece!"
Jill said
"She seems so sad outside!"
so they gave her a slice
there were tears of joy
as Mary and her lamb reunite

Mary was so happy
she started to dance
and as the fire burns on
They ate and danced
and danced some more
until the early morn...

and the fire burns on. =D
