Goodbye, Sweet Sixteen.

Its precisely Five Pee Amm in the afternoon as i begin typing this.

its amazing how fast time can pass when you're not looking only to crawl when you notice its trying to run past you. its like.. a sneaky child waiting to spring upon you when you least expect it and throw its toys your way.

just some toys time left lying around on the First of October:

china's national day.
world vegetarian day.
world hepatitis awareness day.
children's day.
jimmy carter's birthday.
king henry III's birthday.
...

the day where smoking age's raised from 16 to 18 in the UK.

huzzah. click here for more info on the First of October.

turning seventeen in 7 hours and 1 minute's time. i sure don't feel any different. then again, should i?

should time make me into a more "socially acceptable person" - one who possesses many blessings and curses that come with age - and a disgust for all associated with things formerly once enjoyed? does age give me the right to deem things -and people- childish?

i think not.

"maturity does not come with age - but with acceptance of responsibility."
gee, i'd fail in either category. but then again..

never mind.

and now i sit here.. and wait.
..
..
..
as always.

Why the Gunpoweder Treason
Should ever be forgot."

Coke and Wine do NOT go well together..

Urgh my head. there are simply too many photos and thus too much time needed to upload it onto blogger itself..

my headache does not permit that kind of effort.

i wonder why i'm still conscious. the toxic mix of coke and wine PLUS the large amount downed should have taken its toll by now. my face has never been that red in my entire life. haha..

you have no idea how many typos i'm making. this is an edample of an uncorrectd sentwnce. not koking.

anyways, here are the photos from..

Hui Yi's Wedding Part 2 - The Dinner.

*wonders how many people would actually bother to look through.*

Kwok and Praba. the dynamic duo.

what happened when praba, kwok and yzanne put in their best effort in cooking.

fruits of their labour. take a guess anyone? chicken patty or REALLY REALLY ruined omelette?

the master at work: makin' everything look AND taste good is his job.

the perfect blend of peach tea and mango ice cream mixed together in a delightful beverage. tasted like milkshake. really really GOOD milkshake.

the perfect dessert ruined.

making the perfect dessert.

i think somebody put something in the soup base.

yep, someone definitely did. note hafeez's uncontrollable sugar rush induced spasm.

Hafeez finally calming down.

Blinded by the flashlight.

i seriously don't know who that hand belongs to. i can't remember.

After dinner:
some people got a little too much ice-cream.

Mat Basics 101: how to jack a car.

Mat Basics 102: How to fit in a car.

Chao Ah Lian basics 101: how to act cute.

Chao Ah Lian basics 102: how to force yourself into a car.

Childhood friends meet in a tearful reunion.

Praba still recovering from the sugar rush.

praba finally awake after going into a sugar-induced coma for 30 seconds.

what school rules should be.

epitome of unglamness. its not what it looks like. HAHA.

"did anyone say.. manhunt?"

enjoying the best dessert in the world.

Hui Yee's Wedding! (Part One)

and so it came to be: the first wedding of the current cheng generation. my cousin, Cheng Hui Yee. haha. time flies.. too fast. then again, marketing comes first. too fast. sobs.

hair check before moving to hui yee's house.
a surprisingly good picture.

winston being winston.

samuel being.. spastic.

a more civil picture.

another civil picture. (SEE I TOLD YOU GUYS YOU COULD PULL IT OFF.)
the good stuff being carried in.

"not by the hairs on my chinny chin chin."

"hi dear, i love euu beri beri muchzxzxz."

"but some people just WON'T let me pass."
"roflz @ t3h nub dwnst@irzxzx."

the groom being tortured before entering the house: true blue chinese style. with a bit of western influence. notice the exquisite lingerie.

"guys.. what IS this stuff?

they were supposed to eat stuff off... his funny areas.
"argh!"

"i hope you washed it clean today, Max."

chilli mooncakes. with made with a mystery blend of exotic spices. finger lickin' good. bet ya never seen so many people retching at the same time.

"OW!" XD

"ARGH NOT THE MERCHANDISE!"

truly the embodiment of enduring all trials for love.

the happy couple.. uh.. getting in the mood.

the lovely bride Cheng Hui Yee.

the happy couple calming down.

the lovely family.
the bigger family.

my g-g-generation. HUZZAH LIMP BIZKIT.

little girls.

the brothers.

and so we took a break while they traveled over to the groom's side, and tried several activities before they came back for the solemnization...

arm wrestling was kinda one sided.

playing with an undersized pool table wasn't the best of ideas.

JAVA GAMES FTW!

i was bored.

so we resorted to the age-old art of...tai ti. (being the literal pronunciation) or big two. whatever.

the lovely hand.
the battleground.

the couple returning.

tea ceremony.

tea ceremony continued.

tea ceremony featuring mum and dad.

and then the solemnization came..

nice table.
"i do." awwwwww.

the exchanging of rings.

signing of witness statements (or whatever its called. @_@)

the moment.

the happy MARRIED couple.

the new family. (sobs and sniffles all around) notice the dude at the extreme right being extra. HAHA.

girls madly rushing for the bouquet.

and so they drove off toward the horizon..

part two's on tuesday. can't wait til' then. food is good. =D

marketing's tomorrow. ghhhhh. all the best to me.

end. rofl. pictures take too long to load.
